Golden-amber in colour with an intense perfume of dried citrus peel, dried apricots and honey which lead to a luscious palate of spiced honey, dried apricots and toasted vanilla. Unctuous yet fresh.

Isole E Olena is among the most famed and respected brands in Italian wine, for good reason. The vineyard was established in the 1950s, with the De Marchi family combining the former estates of Isole and Olena. The vineyards are located in the west of the Chianti Classico region, located in the Castellina Village, and sprawling across more than 45 hectares some 450 metres above sea level. Grapes are left to wither to raisins before harvesting and pressing, before being fermented and aged for several years before bottling
