Domaine Michelot has flourished from humble beginnings under family ownership. This domaine now covers in excess of 19 hectares in the Nuits-St-Georges region, specialising in vieilles vignes - aka, "rare vines." The vineyard truly rose to prominence in the 1960s, thanks in no small part to production involving the harvest of grapes from a variety of terroirs, all of which have their own microclimates and varying soils. Each grape is meticulously inspected and only perfect candidates make their way into a bottle of Michelot wine, ensuring quality with every sip.
