ABOUT THE VINEYARD
Historians will recognise Château Favray as the former home of Françoise de la Rivière, the lady in waiting of Queen Margot. Since the days of Henri IV's rule, the estate has continued to grow in prominence and reputation. After a hiatus in the 19th Century due to the phylloxera outbreak in the region, Château Favray was restored to its former glory in 1980 by Quentin David. To this day it remains a landmark winery in the Loire Valley.
